In April, YouTube personality Edmond Barseghian, also known as Mondi, bought a McLaren Senna. He described it as a ‘one-of-one Kiwi Edition’, but it was actually a bespoke build called ‘Project Kilo II’ and was one of 500 examples.

Last month, the amateur racer was caught on video performing burnouts and donuts on Ventura Boulevard in Los Angeles. Unfortunately, he lost control of the Senna and crashed into the Lexus of Woodland Hills dealership.

The crash caused severe damage to the McLaren’s front end bodywork and chassis rails. However, it seems that the 588kW/800Nm twin-turbo V8 engine remains unharmed.

The wrecked McLaren Senna is now listed on the Insurance Auto Auctions website, revealing its extensive damage. While the rear also requires repairs, the engine is still intact.

Edmond Barseghian admitted on his Instagram that he was responsible for the crash, joking about the building wanting to collaborate. However, he later made his Instagram profile private.

This is not the first time Barseghian has crashed an expensive car. He previously crashed a GMC Hummer EV Edition 1 and drove a Porsche 911 GT3 down a flooded road.
