The patent images confirm that the production-spec Renault 5 will stay true to the original concept design. The prominent Renault badge remains at the front and center of the grille, while the unique headlight design features slim vertical LEDs.

A boxy front bumper with two square cutouts for daytime running lights is another key feature of the production model. Additionally, a rectangular air intake on the lower bumper serves the purpose of cooling the battery and motor.

Similar to the Renault Megane E-Tech Electric, the Renault 5 will have a charging port located on the front fender for easy access. The side profile reveals a conventional door handle for the driver and passenger, while a hidden handle in the C-pillar accommodates the second-row passengers, reminiscent of the Megane E-Tech.

At the rear, the Renault 5 showcases vertical tail lights and a dark full-width bar, although it does not appear to have a light bar like the concept. A rear spoiler adds a sporty touch to the hatchback’s design.
